Description

Experience a classic design in an compromising modern metal with the incredibly sturdy, incredibly lightweight Titan Sport Fountain Pen from Kaweco.

First produced way back in 1911, the Kaweco Sport is among the earliest fountain pen designs still in use today. Its pocket-friendly construction made the Sport an enduring favourite, and one that has expanded to include rollerball and ballpoint pens in that same iconic shape.

This new addition to Kaweco's range celebrates the unique characteristics of titanium. Commonly used in the aerospace industry due to its phenomenal strength and its relatively light weight, titanium requires sophisticated processing to create the Titan Sport – a writing instrument that is the equal of the Brass or Bronze Sports for resilience, but at a fraction of the weight. Thanks to titanium's corrosion resistance, the Titan Sport will maintain its sharp, fresh finish across the pen's lifetime.

The pen is a compact 10.5cm when capped, making it a natural fit for a pocket or purse. When the cap is removed and posted on the end of the barrel, it extends to 13cm to fit comfortably in your hand. The hand-polished barrel feels smooth and light, with a secure screw cap and a stainless steel, iridium-tipped nib made by the Bock family of Heidelberg, Germany. An iridium tip protects the nib from abrasion by contact with paper, which is part of why Kaweco nibs are famous for their consistency, quality and durability.

This fountain pen takes standard international cartridge refills, or you can use the Kaweco squeeze-style converter with bottled fountain pen ink.
