Hovel Pencil Sharpener
Description
Tailor your pencil tip to your needs with the woodworking charm of Blackwing's Høvel Pencil Sharpener.
Developed in collaboration with Makers Cabinet, an innovative design studio specialising in inventive tools, the Høvel works more like a woodworking plane than a traditional pencil sharpener. Rather than twisting the pencil against a blade, you hold the Høvel in one hand and push it away from yourself along the end of your Blackwing. That unique approach allows you to create custom tip shapes based on your own preferences simply by adjusting the angle of the Høvel or the depth of the blade. The Høvel Pencil Sharpener is made from anodised black aluminium, and includes a matching black wooden base. This set also includes 10 carbon steel replacement blades.

With roots stretching back to the 1930s, the Blackwing 602 was the go-to pencil of artists, writers and designers for more than 60 years. After Blackwing loyalists had scoured the earth to find the last of their favourite pencils, Blackwing reintroduced the 602 in 2010, bringing the legend back to life for a whole new generation.
