We’re not shaking things up all that much – the core principles of our loyalty program will remain the same. Friends of Milligram still has three Levels, with the same spend thresholds for each. We’ll be offering birthday rewards for our Friends, as well as gifts when you reach a new Level. And much like before, once you are at a Level, you have a year to maintain or upgrade your Level before we start the count over again.

Apart from the name, we’re adding more ways for you to make the most of your time with Milligram. We’ve created a new Friends of Milligram hub online where you can see your Level, your Spend, and any rewards that you may have waiting for you. We’re also adding new rewards to give back when you shop with us, as well as mobile wallet options that make it easier to claim your Friends of Milligram rewards in-store.

If you’re in a Friends for Life tier at the moment, you’ll be automatically placed into your matching Level on July 1st, and you’ll have a whole year before we start the count over. Pen Pals will become Level 1, Besties will be Level 2 and Friends Forever will become Level 3.

Yes – opting in to receive marketing communications is a requirement of Friends of Milligram.

Create an account online or sign in with your email address when making a purchase in-store, and you’ll be automatically added to Friends of Milligram (so long as you say ‘yes’ to receiving our emails). 

You’ll be able to check your loyalty status online by signing into your account and visiting your Friends account. You can also check your status via our teams in-store, and you can even check your status on your phone by signing up for our Friends card.

Rather than burden you and the environment with a physical card, you can quickly sign into your account in-store by presenting your Friends card on your phone. Available on iPhone and Android, the Friends card also shows you your loyalty status and tells you if you have a reward to claim.

Just one person per account, sorry, but everyone is welcome to set up their own account

Sign in with your Friends of Milligram email or via the Friends card when you shop, and all your purchases made online or in-store will be linked to your account so you can start claiming your rewards. 

Friends of Milligram levels are based on your annual spend – for example, if you spend over $200 in a year, you’ll be instantly bumped up to Level 2 for the next year. If you spend another $200 in that year, you’ll stay at Level 2; if you spend $400, you’ll be instantly bumped up to Level 3. 

The anniversary date is the start date of your current Level in Friends of Milligram. For new members, it’s the day you signed up; if you change levels, your anniversary date starts the day you changed tiers. 

All your loyalty rewards and upgrades will be finalised 7 days after you earn them. This gives you room to change your mind and exchange for another item knowing that you’ll get all the credit you deserve.

We’ll have more information on the gifts soon, but you can expect a range of
high-quality branded and custom-made gifts for members in Level 2 and
Level 3. 

When you shop online, you can claim your gift via your Friends account. If you're eligible for a gift, you'll also see a Reward to claim in the checkout.

In-store, sign into your account by providing your email or showing your Friends card, and our team will be able to help you claim your gift.

The Birthday discount is a special offer for Friends of Milligram members. Each year, on your birthday, we’ll send a special offer to your inbox. We can only give you that offer if we have your birthday on your account, though, so make sure you fill in all your details in your Friends account or with staff in-store as you check out.
