Do you have a store?
Milligram (formerly NoteMaker) is 100% online for now but we are opening our very first store in Melbourne in November!
We are Australian, based in Collingwood and West Footscray, Victoria. We have a variety of shipping options available to get your gear to you as quickly as possible! We are not able to offer pick up at our Warehouse site. We periodically have warehouse sales offsite – if you'd like to hear about this, please subscribe to our newsletter. Why did you change your name from NoteMaker to Milligram
We loved being NoteMaker for 10 years! As the business has grown up, however, we've expanded our offering from the notebooks and pens we started with, to now also feature lifestyle products like bags, gifts and books. So with our move to physical retail, and launch of our own range, it seemed the ideal time to change our name to take us into the next ten years.
ORDERS, PAYMENTS & DELIVERY
How do you send orders?
We despatch a majority of orders via the Australia Post trackable eParcel service, which requires a signature on delivery, so we recommend providing your work address for delivery. These orders usually take 2-4 business days to dispatch (although longer during sales and peak periods). If you definitely need your order to arrive quickly, you can select Australia Post Express Post, which means we despatch the next business day (price varies based on delivery point). We sometimes use other courier companies. No carrier will leave packages unattended/unsigned for. If no-one is there to sign for the parcel, they will leave a calling card and you'll need to collect your parcel from closest post office/delivery hub.
Our Melbourne Metro Customers also have the option of Same Day Courier for orders placed before 11am on business days (but you must be available to accept delivery, meaning a work address is best). This is super-fast and great if you need your order today. Internationally we send via Australia Post's Airmail or Australia Post Pack and Track Service (depending on destination). Where do you ship to internationally?
Milligram ships around Australia and to over 45 counties, including the USA, UK and New Zealand. A full list of the countries we ship to follows:

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Milligram usually takes 2 business days to process your order, and then dispatch it. The amount of time it then take to get to you depends on what sort of postage you choose and your destination. TNT or Express Post is guaranteed next day delivery for a majority of Australians (sorry NT and WA, you sometimes have to wait an extra day). Standard Australia Post deliveries can take 3-10 days to arrive at their destination. In most cases, your order will ship within 2 business days of it being received and after it is paid in full. However, we ocassionally get super-busy during special occasions, sales and holidays which means you may have to wait a day or two longer than usual. Find out more about shipping options here.
Can I collect my order from your office if I'm in Melbourne?
Sorry, no, due to having such a busy warehouse, occupational health and safety concerns mean it's not safe to have customers visit our premises. If you need your order quickly, opt for Express Post or same day courier service available in Melbourne.
Can I track my order?
Each order we send out has a tracking number that is provided by Australia Post or the carrier you selected at checkout. You can check the progress of your order here for Australia Post or here for TNT. If your order hasn’t reached you in a timely manner, please check track your parcel with the appropriate carrier or get in touch with our customer service team and they’ll track it down for you. Please note that Australia Post Air Mail can not be tracked - if your order is of high value we suggest TNT for added peace of mind.
What payments do you accept?
Milligram accepts Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard and AMEX), Paypal and bank deposit. If you opt to pay by bank deposit, we cannot mail your order until payment has been received into our account. This usually adds another week to the process. Thus, if you want the fastest possible delivery, please pay via Credit Card or PayPal.
What are the costs for shipping methods?
Our shipping charges to Australian delivery addresses are $9.90 for standard delivery, although if you spend over $99 you receive FREE standard shipping. Express Post delivery is $14.90 - $19.90 based on destination (receive a quote in the cart when you put in your postcode) and for Melbourne we offer a same-day delivery service for $19.90.
What do the various Milligram order status descriptions mean?
'Processing' - Your order is being picked and packed, and will be shipped in the next 24-48 hours. (If your order shows as 'processing' for longer than a few days, please contact customer service.)
'Pending' - You've elected to pay via bank deposit and we are waiting for the funds to clear to our account.
'Complete' - Your order has been despatched and is on it's way to you. This does not mean it has been delivered, it may still be in transit. To track delivery, refer to your shipping confirmation email, where you'll find a tracking number for your parcel. For Australia Post deliveries, you can track your order at http://auspost.com.au/track.
Are items shipped together if I order multiple products?
In the majority of cases, items are shipped together when they are ordered together. Two exceptions are (a) if one items is out of stock, but we're expecting it in soon, we may ship the items that are available and (b) rolls of wrapping paper are shipped separately in a tube to avoid damage.
I just got my order and it's not exactly what I had in mind, what can I do?
Products purchased from Milligram automatically include our Simple 40-Day Return option (Refund or Exchange). This excludes sale and discount items as well as bulk purchases. If the item you ordered is not quite what you had in mind you can return it for an exchange or refund (exclusive of shipping costs) within 40 days of date of purchase. Find out more.

What is Friends For Life?
Friends For Life is our beloved loyalty program (don't worry, you will still get the same benefits with Milligram). All you have to do is set up an account with Milligram and we'll take care of the rest. Over a series of ten purchases, you get some great benefits. On your 10th order, you get 10% off that order - and every future order!
My Friends For Life status isn't reflected in my new account - what do I do?
We recently upgraded our website to make shopping with Milligram even easier, this includes an improved and automated Friends For Life loyalty program! If you have purchased with us previously you should set up a new account and then send us an email to let us know – we'll apply the correct status to your account so that you won't miss out on your Friends For Life benefits. Does Milligram have a Sale section?
Milligram has a permanent sale section on the website, where you can save up to 50% on some items. This section is largely clearance items that we're discontinuing, so you can often nab a real bargain!
How can I be notified of sales and special offers?
We run a flash sale or great special offer at least monthly. To be notified of these sales, ensure you sign up to our email list.

Can I order my office stationery at a discount from Milligram?
Many of our products at Milligram are cheaper if you purchase multiples of them. We call this tier pricing and, if it's available for a product, you'll see the pricing tiers in the individual product page. Lower prices often start with a purchase of as little as three items. We guarantee all of the products sold on our site are original and authentic. Where possible we include any warranty and certificates with your order.

Do you have gift vouchers?
We have eGift vouchers available for purhcase year-round, in eight demonimations. You can buy these online and they're sent immediately via email. You can send direct to the gift recipient, or send it to yourself to print or forward to them at a later time.
How do I redeem an eGift Voucher?
Choose the items you'd like and then go to the Cart. You can enter your eGift card number there for payment, and can also check the status and amount of credit on your eGift Card. You do not need to spend the entire card in a single transaction. If you spend over the eGift card amount, you can pay the difference on your own Credit Card.
I have a Coupon/Gift Voucher code that is no longer working - what do I do?
If your coupon code is no longer working, please let us know and we will reinstate your coupon code or gift voucher code.
IMPORTANT: Gift Voucher codes that were received prior to January 15th 2014 should be entered in the Coupon Code field in your shopping cart and not in the E-Gift Card field.
