- Beautifully made and sleek design Review by Cameron
- Ordered this for the compactness and design and it definitely delivered in that regard. It looks amazing and sits flush and straight on a flat surface because of it's precise aluminium construction. A satisfying *shing* noise, like that of a sword being unsheathed, accompanies the action of closing it into the folded position, a testament to the construction of the ruler. The angles noted on the hinge are to be taken with a grain of salt as 90 degrees isn't 90 degrees. My biggest issue was while working on a construction site with this in my pants pocket, in the folded position, the hinge had somehow bent in the course of me bending down and standing up. Now the ruler does not sit or close flush at all and I have been unable to rectify it as the hinge is inaccessible and can not be bent back. So perhaps it is more suited for in office use and not to be subject to force as the hinge is not the strongest. (Posted on 5/06/2017)
- Solid, compact ruler Review by Rani
This is a compact, well-made ruler. Great for travelling and small-scale projects. The circular hinge allows you to measure angles which is handy although I think it's a little too small if you want high accuracy. Same goes for extending it to 30cm - it works well but you can't get a seamless line if you're doing fine line drawing.
That said it's a handy little ruler and I use it regularly. (Posted on 27/01/2016)
