The world's oldest name in ink production, J Herbin's vivid Perle des Encres (Jewel of Inks) range began production in 1700. From Napoleon Bonaparte to Vicor Hugo and Coco Chanel, Herbin inks and sealing waxes have been used by conquerors, novelists, designers and dignitaries for over 300 years. Today, their fabulous colours and long lasting pigments ensure J. Herbin continues to be the foremost choice of ink for calligraphy writers and fountain pen users around the world.
This range of pearly inks are not for fountain pens, they're best suited to wide nibs or brushes. Beautiful, bright striking colours, these inks can be used with either dark or light coloured paper. They come in a range of colours.
These beautiful inks will enhance lettering with a pearl-like lustre.

- Gorgeous Colour! Review by Miranda
- This ink is a lovely bright green with pearl sheen. Picture is true to colour. Out of the bottle it is quite thick but this just means the ink will go further. It's smooth to write with and if not diluted almost creates a raised texture. I use this ink with a dip pen only, so effects with a fountain pen may differ. (Posted on 26/01/2017)
