Let the Hobonichi 2019 Techo Weeks Planner be your everyday companion and find out why this Japanese brand has such a cult following. Every year, Hobonichi is re-designed, refined and updated to reflect the demands of users worldwide. We're very excited to offer Hobonichi to our Milligram customers, who have been asking for this for a very long time!

This bestselling Japanese-language 2019 hard cover wallet size planner is 10mm thin and lightweight (140g), making it easy to carry around. The Weeks planner uses the weekly notebook format on ultra-thin, Tomoe River paper (strong, resistant to bleeding and fountain pen friendly). The format shows the week's appointments on the left complemented by a grid page for notes and ideas on the right.

Inside you'll find a two-dot timeline to split each day into morning, afternoon, and evening, a weekly quote and a "Secret Line" — a vertical line on the memo page that allows such things as topics on the left and details on the right, or drawing out visual timetables and plans. The line is printed lightly enough that you can ignore it when using the page as a whole. You'll also find a yearly & monthly traditional Japanese calendar (Rokuyo), body measurements, 17cm ruler, a guide to Japan's change of seasons, tips for living well, custom international breakfast foods, classic literature, emergency preparedness, an age and conversion table, useful sites, addresses and personal details... this planner packs it all in!

The chic textured cover has rounded corners and is embossed with 2019 on both the front and spine. The endpaper is designed with the letters from Hobonichi’s logo – shortened to HOBO – arranged in a chic, designer pattern. Each planner contains a serial number on the inside back cover to give each Techo a unique identity, as well as two bookmarks. There's also a detached clear pocket, laminated railways map of Japan and 's railway map and a gorgeous leaflet entitled: This is my life; and an illustration that reads: Happy Nothing Special Day! — celebrating the everyday.

The Hobonichi Techo is made by Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun (ほぼ日刊イトイ新聞), a website and lifestyle brand curated by Japanese copywriter Shigesato Itoi. Hobonichi comes from the word meaning “almost everyday” and techo meaning “planner.” Since its first release in 2001, the Hobonichi Techo has earned a cult following and become a global lifestyle icon for its minimal and functional design. Every Hobonichi planner is designed and printed in Japan.
