Extra! Extra! Field Notes had so much success with their 'Byline' reporter's edition limited edition notebook that they've decided to bring it into the full range - permanently. Created with the help of John Dickerson, veteran reporter and host of CBS's Face the Nation, be prepared to whip out your notebook, flip it open and take note, which comes in a set of two - double the trouble!
So. what's changed? Only some cosmetic details. The cover is the same heavy 120#DTC Neenah stock, but in a lighter “Concrete” grey. The innards are the same Cougar 70gsm text paper, but bright white college-ruled with light grey lines. The Double-O-Binding is black rather than silver. That’s all, really, all other features are the same: 70 ruled pages, a slightly narrower shape for easier one-handed holding with a lay-flat design and a handy back cover pocket.
These reporter notebooks are perfect for the office, classroom or back pocket. As usual, the inside covers are jam-packed with helpful information including a map of US time zones, vocabulary for you to talk like Ben Bradlee, source guidelines, proofreading marks and additional space to write your contact details.
Field Notes notebooks are well known as the best pocket notebook, made from durable materials for robust use. High-quality memo books with an interesting feature, the 'Byline' limited edition set of 2 notebooks are a wonderful gift – although, you may be tempted to keep them for yourself!
